About the kennel name

Coming up with a name was an incredible challenge. After all, it's a name that will accompany a person for their entire life. I had a few requirements – a one-word name that can be easily pronounced anywhere in the world, so that most people wouldn't immediately associate it with anything. At the same time, I wanted the name to have a deeper meaning, not just be a random jumble of letters.

The final name, which resonated with me from the very beginning and felt it is just right, was actually suggested by my husband, Marek. I am very grateful to him because I would still be struggling with it today and probably wouldn't have been satisfied in the end. 🙂

And if you're wondering about the deeper context and where this word actually comes from… Its origin is in Latin. The word fluviatilis appears as a species name for many plants. Loosely translated into English, it means "belong to the river." And what else is a Toller if not a little river dog? :)
